=============================================================== AleJenJes Timer v1.08 by Tim Winkfein =============================================================== ===[Description]=============================================== I wrote this for my 3 kids to use while taking turns at playing games on their computer after they broke momma's kitchen timer. It is a simple countdown timer where you enter the starting time in minutes and it counts down to zero. ===[Features]================================================== = All settings are "remembered" from the previous time ran. = Choose to keep on top of other windows. = Sticky mode: docks to the edge of your screen when near it. = Set a warning sound to play at 1, 2, 3, or 5 minutes. = Pause the timer momentarily (click GO! to resume). = Plays 4 sounds (included): At Go!, at a preset warning time, a 30 second ticker, and when the time expires. = Sounds can be changed to any other wav files. = Shhhhh! silent mode. = Right-click menu. ===[Installation]============================================== = No install. Just extract these files to any folder and make a shortcut to timer.exe. ===[Requirements]============================================== = Visual Basic v5.0 SP3 runtime files, available at my website. ===[Tips]====================================================== = Click and drag the timer numbers to move the timer. = You can use other .wav files by renaming them to start.wav, warning.wav, tick.wav, and alarm.wav. Put them in the folder with the timer. = You can turn the sounds off by selecting "Shhhhh!" from the right-click menu. = Silence a single sound by renaming or deleting the wav file. = Select "Popup Message" from the right-click menu if you want the timer to display a message when the time expires. = When setting the time period, it only accepts whole minutes. = Double-click the timer numbers for program info. ===[Price]===================================================== = Free! ===[Email/Web]================================================= = Comments welcome! = greywolf@gonebowlin.com = http://www.gonebowlin.com
